B.F.T.T. Act 2: Revelations OST

----About the Game----

B.F.T.T. is my future action-packed mix of hack-and-slash and third person shooter, in which you can play as multiple characters each having their very own story line to play and acknowledge. All events are happening in a city called Corpeole and its surroundings. No one who once entered this place can leave due to a mysterious giant space barrier around it, that appeared 12 years ago. That Barrier bends space inside itself so much that nothing, not even concepts can leave. Yet, inside the barrier space-time is quite unstable, resulting in constant appearance of guests from all of the multiverse, and by far not many of them are friendly. So a Battle Forces Termination Team (B.F.T.T.) was formed to get rid of all of incoming threats. Our main heroes, a battle robot with artificial intelligence M-47 and an anthropomorphic mutant cat Clara, are members of this team as well, M-47 being one of the strongest (but dwarfed before Angel Stars, the strongest B.F.T.T. member, being a cosmo-angel that came from another dimension long ago and an established mayor of Corpeole who's strength is beyond something any B.F.T.T. member can achieve) and Clara being the weakest but one of the most effective members, using her savvy and tricks to deal with foes much stronger than she is. Will they be able to find the secrets of the Barrier and who stands behind its creation?

---Meaning of the Tracks---

After the villain of the previous act, M-28 "Dark", was defeated, he managed to disrupt signals in a nearby high-protected prison, releasing 2 of the most dangerous criminals he could find in the database. Those being an S-level threat, who has been in stasis inside the prison for 10 years - Dell Hugo Anguria, nickname: "The Warper", the former best Kwantim co. (a frontier research company specialized in quantum and astrophysics, that also became a foundation designed to help unfortunate people who recently entered the barrier, for which everyone was almost idolizing Joey Kwantim, it's founder and CEO) engineer and researcher, before turning against Kwantim co. a few months after the creation of the Barrier, having the ability to manipulate gravity and space-time, and an A-level threat Hank Gozro, nickname: "The Hadron Samurai", also a former Kwantim co. engineer, considered the most dangerous terrorist alive, having an ability to manipulate nuclear forces and change matter. After being released, the prison is found in ruins, and one of the only remaining alive guards conveyed a message form Warper to the B.F.T.T. squad about a scheduled meeting with them. Our main heroes move out to eliminate the threat, but after the first encounter with Warper they barely manage to escape. That is when Clara and M-47 split up to catch both of the criminals, while the situation is way more urgent than it seemed first (omg that's a VERY brief explanation bc I can't do it in time)

That Fateful Night	The B.F.T.T. leader, a former Kwantim co. employee Naile Baskez managed to decrypt the message left by Warper to find the coordinates of his secret facility. M-47 and Clara were dispatched to go there together. As they were making their way through the facility that with its condition proved that it has been left alone for 10 years, they fight with security systems and drones, and, despite them being a pinnacle of human engineering, their appearance and the appearance of the rooms and the halls themselves were making them recall in their minds events that happened many years ago, with the remnants of the night the Barrier appeared, as if they travel further into the past while going deeper into the facility, with music changing dynamically as they traverse further. On the way they discovered Warper clearly has something to do with the creation of the Barrier, although it isn't clear if he is the one who created it, and in the last hallway, when they were approaching Warper's control room, they saw how insane Warper actually is behind the mask of his composed and cold aristocratic attitude, with all of the walls having some phrases scratched out with something sharp, such being "it's not my fault", "my fault", "he shall pay", "put off his lamb hide", "is this what you desire, teacher?" etc. After they have an encounter with Warper it is clear he is way more powerful to be handled by them and they barely have a chance to escape, although it seems like he wanted them to escape after that, especially M-47, since he then receives a message with Hadron Samurai's location. It all seems like Warper is out for vengeance on someone, but not Hank, since he sees him as "just another pathetic pest" and B.F.T.T. has nothing to do with it, but now he saw something interesting in M-47. They decide to split up, Clara went to capture the Samurai and M-47 went to find more information about Dell Anguria, only to be interrupted by an urgent emergency in the new Kwantim co. fusion powerplant. (the music is only for their fight with security systems, Warper's first boss theme was made before the jam and I didn't have time to remake it)
Hadron Samurai	After all these events, Clara catches a signal in a nearby abandoned military base which is revealed to be a temporary terrorist base. As she sneaks and fights her way through, she notices that exoskeletons the terrorists wear clearly are based off of old Kwantim co. serial military exoskeleton models, but they are designed in a less futuristic and a more samurai-like style. After Clara finally makes her way through terrorists are suddenly ordered to stop attacking and she then goes right to Hank. It is revealed that he is the leader of this whole group. When she sees his face, she remembers that made her that way, when, back when he was a Kwantim co. engineer, he picked up her as a stray cat in the streets, saving from a bunch of dogs, and performed the experiment that succeeded, but Clara has managed to escape containment only during the night the Barrier was created. He then speaks to her about his plan to build an empire out of Corpeole so that every person would be doing their part and making this hell on earth thrive. He also says he has a score to settle with Warper, so he would gladly assist in neutralizing him. Clara only gets mad at his reasoning, saying that he was the person who made her a walking weapon destined to fight forever, disappointing Hank, and thus the battle begins. It ends with Clara winning, but the roof gets suddenly shattered because of collateral damage of the fight between Angel Stars (), covering Clara in rubble, so he has a few seconds to escape.
Overcharge	After an emergency alarm in the Kwantim co. fusion powerplant M-47 goes there only to find that some guards are dead and every other guard and all employees are locked up. He rushes to the reactor chamber only to find Warper who has already gotten the miniature reactor and connected it to his suit, after that he turns around, clearly expecting M-47's appearance and, before M-47 could reach him, opens Event Horizon, one of his strongest moves, creating a large black hole that traps M-47 inside, where he can't even move because of gravitational pressure and that is when eargon, a crystal being the energy source of M-47, resonates not with his body, but with something deeper. Throughout many years his artificial intelligence had been learning from this world and from humans, imitating emotions more and more precisely, until that night. That is when, after what he saw, emotions stopped being an imitation, and filled his mind - dread, despair, pity. But he forgot about it, until that day. Eargon resonated not with the metal body, but with a soul, making an inanimate object a living being. Its energy output increased thousands of times and M-47 unlocked his Battle Mode (smth like a superform which only eargon users possess), as well as a new ability - Surpass. He surpassed the pressure of the black hole and has found himself in a pocket dimension, outside being only a black hole 10 meters in diameter, but inside being the size of the Universe itself, with its own stars and planets. And before him was Warper, now not hiding his emotions behind the cold mask and smiling with genuine excitement. This person - no, this entity - was beyond M-47's computing capabilities - M-47 was able to overtake the speed of light itself, but Warper was hundreds of times beyond his best; M-47 can easily shatter the whole Corpeole if he wanted to, but Warper just tossed a planet towards him, breaking it in process. He seemed like a god, yet, with M-47's newly awakened power, he stood his ground in a desperate struggle against Warper until backup arrives. After the fight, as M-47 is way beyond his limits and Warper is about to deal the final blow, space next to them shatters and Angel Stars appears in a bright flash, knocking Warper away in a single devastating blow, damaging the miniature Kwantim co. reactor so much Warper can't maintain Event Horizon anymore and it collapses and explodes. Warper and Angel have a quick chit-chat where it gets obvious that she is acquainted with Warper and she doesn't really want to fight him. He seems nervous, knocking M-47 away with a slight move of his hand in irritation and tries to escape, but Angel's power is way beyond even his limits, he already knew that. When Angel pinned him to the ground, she stretched her hand to him, saying that it's not too late, but Warper after a slight hesitation only darkens his gaze and says that it is, using that moment to knock her away and escape through a wormhole.
At Last	The sun begins to rise from the horizon as Clara lays down on a meadow and looks at the sky slightly distorted by the Barrier. She than says to M-47 that maybe her mutation wasn't a curse, but a blessing, at least because now, 12 years later, she wouldn't have such friends with her. She then gets up and says "screw looking into the past. Can't see anything better back there.", chuckles and leaves. M-47 during that moment thinks how that incident itself awakened real emotions in him 12 years ago, silently agreeing with her words. Meanwhile Dell returns to his wrecked facility, beaten up and limping, gets out of his suit and looks into a shattered mirror in his room, his expression darkening. He says to himself "it's time." and he sits down at the piano, while Joey Kwantim, the CEO of Kwantim co., sits in his office and plays chess with himself, humming a melody and then saying to himself "what will your next move be, huh, Dell?" and placing a knight forward, thus declaring the end of act 2 and the prologue of act 3.
